I just discovered there's no philosophical exemption in OR? We're an atheist family who have been relying on our philosophical exemption. I'm not sure we could get a religious one.
What do non vaxers in Oregon do if they want to send kids to school?
Thanks!

You don't have to tell them anything about why you use a religious exemption. It's just something you initial on a form.

Ok, thank you! I was under the impression that it was difficult to get a religious exemption. Phew! smile.gif

Its really easy to get, you just have to keep explaining it every year or so if the school staff is highly pro-vax.  Even if they asked why, the religious exemption covers all personal beliefs and ideas, icluding scientific reasons aht you personally happen to believe for logical reasons.  :)
