I'm looking for pediatrcian recommendations in Seattle (though could also consider Kirland / Bellevue / Redmond if you know someone great).

The following are really important to me:

- Breastfeeding friendly, specially with regards to extended BF and open to baby lead weaning

- Open to alternative vaccination schedules and selective vaccinations

- Hands off on the intact penis

- Supportive of the family bed

I am aware that a lot of NDs would be appropriate - and, in fact, if we were going the ND route I've got a good candidate - but DH is not comfortable with someone who's not an MD.

He is a family practice doctor. I joke with him in his previous life he was a midwife. He has his doubts about a lot vaccines and the schedules they should be given etc. He is totally for parent led everything. He is one of the only doctor's in Seattle that also delivers babies also. He has 8 kids.

Amye Hadley, ND, ARNP at Swedish Magnolia is AP-friendly, specializes in pediatrics and is an ND. As far as I know she is the only ND/ARNP in Seattle. She had been at Wallingford Pediatrics until the head doctor retired and then she moved to Magnolia.
