Does anyone know of one? I may (probably will) be in the market for one soon.

Peace Harbor midwives only deliver in the hospital, at least that's what I was told with ds2.
I guess that leaves me going to Coos Bay or Springfield/Eugene.
Thanks. You got further with your Google search than I did!

I know that I've heard of some of the Eugene midwives attending births in Florence.

There is also a midwife in Lincoln City/Otis. She has a birth center there, but also does homebirths, and I know she too travels over an hour away for births.

My MW attends homebirths in Florence, she has a funny anecdote about one time when a first-time mom called her very early in labor, she went because it was a long drive out to Florence, and wound up staying and sleeping on their couch for a few days. Normally she would have gone home, but since it was so far she didn't want to risk it.
Her name is Elise Hansen, she practices out of Eugene, she's really awesome in my opinion and I love that she only takes on 12-13 patients in any given year, which is so much less than anyone else I've heard of. She does act as assistant for another MW though, which ups that number a bit. And she is cool with being very hands-off in labor, for me she is only using fetoscope and has already okay'd doing no internal checks. And she is a big supporter of water as pain relief, even if you don't want to have the baby in the water. Oh, and I don't know if this matters to you (it does to me!), but OHP covers her 100% as long as you have an open card.
her website is http://tenmoonsmidwifery.com/

Not sure if you have already found one, but I had a midwife that lives just outside of Florence in Deadwood. She was awesome and very hands-off. Teresa Wildwood was her name. Let me know if you want her number. ;0)

I'm just sticking with a hospital birth this time and hoping there will be a next time to get my home birth. If not, then I suppose it just wasn't meant to be.

ETA: Thank you all for the suggestions.
