Can anyone suggest some good options for AP friendly (ds is 18 months, and we co-sleep and breastfeed and I sah, I'm not really looking to compromise those aspects of our relationship at this point) counseling in Portland? Preferably on the east side of the river, and if possible, low-ish cost? My dh and I seem to be stuck in a loop that involves more negativity than I'm comfortable with and we haven't been able to talk our way out of it.
We'd both like to consider the possibility of another child, but I don't think we could handle the additional stress and we need to get right with each other before we can seriously discuss anything like that.
Thanks!

My first recommendation for family related counseling very AP friendly is MotherRoots: http://www.mothersource.org/directory/detail/8/

I also really love:
LaShelle Charde'
Wise Heart Training & Counseling

(503) 544-7583
www.wiseheartpdx.org
Office Location:**Awakenings

Also, I have heard great things about these two from clients:

Dawn Menken (children and adults, and*marriage)
http://www.processwork.org/therapydawn.htm

Lauren MacNeill (mostly*marriage*counseling)
http://www.laurenmacneill.com/

And further recommended to me per a resource list by someone I trust (but I know nothing about these people):

Jeanne Beavis 503228-6235

Doug Pullen
503 293-4177

Nick Dexter 503528-0150

Marsha Grahm 503 241-7705

Please tell anyone you call that Savannah Mayfield sent you. I hope you find the support you need right now:

Thanks for the suggestions! I have heard of MotherRoots, I'll have to look into what they have to offer, and I've been to Awakenings for CST on my lo (obviously a different care provider), so those feel like good places to start.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Laurie Cox was DH's therapist and our marriage counselor as well. She is AP friendly and was very good at her job, I thought (as did DH).
