This will be our first baby, and I am SO excited! We've been ttc for several years and I'm still kind of in shock that I'm pregnant, and also fearful of another miscarriage. But I'm working through the fear and have a good feeling that this will be our baby. Who else is expecting their first?
For the seasoned mamas, what pearls of wisdom do you have for enjoying a healthy, happy, and peaceful pregnancy? Any tips for self-care, maintaining good health, keeping positive, creating rituals or traditions, etc.? This is such a sacred time and I want to honor it, celebrate it, and cherish it as much as possible.
Hope you're all feeling good, in a first trimester kind of way
Congrats and welcome! Pregnancy is a pretty amazing time. I think it's great to practice a lot of self-care and go easy on yourself. Staying active helps a lot too.
Also, people love sharing horror stories, but statistically whatever horror story they're sharing is probably pretty rare. It helps to read positive birth stories and not stress about unlikely bad outcomes.
Thanks lismcc and MamaJen! Wishing you both healthy and peaceful pregnancies.
