jude is my second (there's a four year gap between him and dd) and have found the transition from 1 to 2 infinitely easier than from 0 to 1. i think i'm just a lot less stressed than i was as a first-time mom (which is good for all of us).
do you other moms with two now feel the same?
how about those mamas with 3, 4, 5... what's it like having a larger family?
DS is 2 1/2 and I agree, the transition from 1 to 2 has been easier. It does help that DS was a difficult bay and DD is an easy baby though! Sam, are you gonna have anymore? I'd love to have more, but DH is so done. We've agreed to not talk about it for a few years though.

oh, gosh, i don't know. part of me wants more, but not sure if that's just because the thought of having no more is too hard to imagine. to think i'll never be pregnant again or have another baby makes me sad (i'm guessing this is normal and that a lot of women feel this way).
my dh is also done. his reason is mostly a financial one, however. i'm thinking if we were in a better place financially, he'd be open to it. he's agreed to have a vasectomy (eventually), but i'm reluctant to do anything so permanent just yet. if we do have another we probably won't wait as long (there are four years between dd and ds). we'll see. never say never.
it's funny. dd was an easy baby and ds is even easier. how can we be so lucky?
