No teeth yet here, though I feel like he's been working on them for months! I can see a teeny tiny point on the bottom but nothing has popped through yet.
Oooo! She's got nothing like that yet. She had a white bump on her bottom right gum, where a tooth would pop through, when she was born. When she was maybe 4 months, I forget, I noticed something bright white there. I thought it was lint because it came off. BUT it was apparently whatever that thing was because it was gone. Almost like a zit type thing. Weird. That's all the activity beside being a chew monkey!
K's the one born the same day as Ana was! I knew someone was but couldn't remember who! :)
MrsKoehn- My DS1 didn't get teeth until 9 months so I was surprised to see E had them at 6 months! I think the longer they wait, the better actually. DS1 never really bit while nursing but E does it, maybe because he's a lot younger. Also, is anyone else scared when your LO eats a chunk of food too big for them? I am because I have to stick my finger into Everett's mouth to get it out and his first instinct is to bite me! Those 2 tiny teeth are shockingly sharp and strong! Waiting until 9 months was easier :)
Though those little white teeth peaking out when E gives me a giant smile, that's awfully cute :)
It does bother me when she's got too much in her mouth. I don't normally pull it out though. I do have to fish out skins from fruit and paper sometimes though. She gets mad and clamps her jaws when I try to get the food stuff, paper she laughs because she knows she's not supposed to eat it. Lol
Ugh Guy has zero teeth going on. He chews and chews and drools buckets and is so grumpy but his gums are the same as day freakin' one. I wish they'd either quit making him feel bad or just get on out already!
My son is now cutting his second set of teeth, the two top ones, the bottom ones came in a few months back. Other than tylenol and orajel which we don't like to use but do rarely since it always knocks him out or wears off quickly. We also use cold (fridge not freezer) chew rings and home made fruit/yogurt puree popsicles.
Any other recommendations that might work?
I'm skeptical of amber as I am a jeweler and have purchased and used amber - it's often misleadingly sold as real when often resin. It's often overpriced also. Also I don't want to have my son next to something I am not sure ot it's origin or if it actually helps.
Does anybody else's little one have a teething rash around his or her mouth? I can't decide whether Luthien is allergic to one of the solid foods she's been trying or just has toxic saliva.
