Nan'sMom I've posted on the forum before but wasn't in the birth/due date stats. My baby girl was born at home after 11 hours of labor 4 days after her due date. I'd planned to decide between UC and MWAHB and ended up calling in my midwife an hour (or two?) before the baby was born to ask for pain relief suggestions. I suspect funky positioning + cervical lip from the pattern of labor/pain/intensity although I didn't do any VEs so who knows. The midwife was great, so respectful of my wishes, answering questions but not messing around with anything/monitoring/checking, etc.

Dd is our third girl (yay!) and is doing great, sweet, happy, snuggly and loved by all of us.
