If it's yeast, paint on some gentian violet, it'll make it disappear if it is yeast!  Then put all of your cloth diapers out to dry in the sun so that any yeast living in the cloth will be killed.  if the rash persists then you know it was not yeast, and no harm done :)  My favorite cloth diaper cream is Nature;s Baby Organics.  But it's not for yeast.

Could it be Yeast?

Has anyone had a diaper rash that is very itchy in cloth diapers before? Anytime the diaper is off baby is itchy and when the diaper is on sometimes will itch at the diaper. I've tried two different cloth diaper creams (Angle baby bottom balm & CJ's Butter) they have cleared the rash but not the itch. Baby has been to the doc. twice and been put on two different types of rash cream and into disposables. The rash cleared the first time but not the itch(again) and the rash or itch didn't clear the second time. Everytime the rash somewhat comes back and the itch stays. Ugh!

I do not think it is the cloth because the rash continued in disposables. However, if your wondering. I wash in country save and do cold rinse, hot wash, 2cold rinses.

Does anyone know of any cloth friendly cream that I should try? Or should I try a powder?  Does anyone know what might be causing this?
