When breastfeeding, I found that the lanolin cream also helped greatly reduce the irritation from the rubbing teeth. That and making sure that my nipples got plenty of "free time" to air out.

Lazy latch! IT SUCKS! You have to take the baby off and relatch with a widder mouth. She will get used to her teeth and open wider soon. It wont last forever. Totally feel your pain thought. Ours was so much worse at night too.

lilblueberry My 10 mo old nurses so much at night I believe due to teething. My nipples are so sore and I can feel her teeth rubbing against my nipples. She's got the typical first four teeth and I don't know if she's not opening wide enough or what but it feels like razors on my nipples. Any advice?
