And Wondfo, or as I will refer to them from now on, evil sticks:

The numbers in parentheses are the number of seconds I held the pee stick in the cup of pee. I usually do 3 seconds, but on days when I changed it I marked the times.

I had a beta drawn about 3 hours after the 17 DPO FMU and I'll update this post once I have my beta number, Monday hopefully.

The 18 DPO PM I only held my pee for an hour, illustrating either the horrificness of Wondfos or showing that holding it for longer may not really make a difference. Once pee is in your bladder it doesn't really come  back out, so it's not like overnight your body concentrates the hcg in your pee, you just have more pee, with, perhaps, slowly increasing amounts of hcg in it since the level of hcg in the newly added pee should be rising steadily. By that theory SMU should have more hcg than FMU.

So of these the only kind that seems to track an increase is the FRER, but two sticks are really not enough to conclusively say that. I plan on using my last FRER tomorrow morning.

And just in case you're wondering how I'm organizing all of these pee sticks, I've taped them onto a 12x12 piece of scrap booking paper (finally a good use for that paper...)

Sure- Can and will do!

I am going to set up the thread for April everyone!

tinytina -  Yay!  Thanks for volunteering!  You would just start a new thread, then copy and paste the original post from this thread into your new post.  I think I just did a simple copy-paste when I was OP last year and it all came over with the right format and everything.  Then just edit to update everyone's places when you can!  :love

rosie- I don't know first-hand yet, but I know that I was directed to take the progesterone until CD28 (adjusted for actual O) so that it would lengthen my LP (my regular LP is only 12 days) and also would stop the spotting.  My understanding is that my next cycle would start right up as soon as I quit the progesterone.  So as far as I know, it won't delay AF unless you keep taking it.  What's your dose?  I'm glad your bloodwork came back normal.  I know on one hand it would be satisfying to have something to target, but on the other hand, it's really good that you are on the right track with everything.  I am hoping just a boost of progesterone was all you needed to get everything to fall in place.  I hope you are not out this month.  Your timing was fine, so I am hopeful for you.

alive - rosie had terrific points!   Good luck - I hope O is right around the corner!

Oh kita, not what we were all hoping for.  I'm sorry they did not have answers.  What is the next step?

I can take over the thread for April if no one else wants to do it- just explain what I need to do- LOL!

We need to meet with the urologist tomorrow for my husband than we should be ready to start the process- I think.....we have done all the blood work and initial appointments. I got my rubella shot last week.

alivewithyou Rosie: thank you for being my common sense in a sea of frustration. smile.gif

You are awesome.

Kita: I'm sorry you still don't have definitive answers. The unknown is the worst.

If it gets too long I might call a new doctor and see if there's anything they will consider since I now have a history of ovulating late.
I think the 50, then the 25, then the 20 was all signs that your body was regulating nicely after coming off BC. Now stuck at 26 would be normal coming off a chemical. I think you should wait and see what happens...I bet after this cycle things will continue to normalize. Or even better you'll just get pregnant.

kita: sorry your appt was a bust. I haven't researched it much, but from the little I read, it sounds like the uterine cast thing doesn't hinder fertility. Or at least for the women I read about. They all went on to have children anyway. But you still don't want to go thru that BS again...

Kita4 Jenjy: my ultrasound wasn't helpful at all. My blood work came back normal as well. They said there was some free fluid by my ovary and they suspect a cyst but still think it could be something else. Ugh. This is not fun. I just want them to figure this fricken thing out. greensad.gif

rosie2727 jenjy: I am 11 dpo and temp is still up. But I wouldn't expect it to fall until AF is due. I am so utterly bitchy that I assume I have PMS to blame. I'll argue with anyone right now! Do you know what to expect in regards to the prog delaying AF? I liked that I had such regular cycles, now I'm not sure what to expect. Also, I got my bloodwork results back from the specialist. I didn't ask for specific numbers cause I'm tired of overanalyzing everything. Esp things I know nothing about like lupus anticoagulant blah-da-de-blah and TSH. All I know is dr said everything was normal, so I'm just gonna roll with it. My appt with him was 4dpo so I started the prog that day and started taking aspirin the weekend prior to. I think I'm out this month, but am eager to jump back in the game full force this month!

@badwolf092087 aw, that is OK.  It's cute about your DH - he sounds excited.  :)

@AntoninBeGonin welcome!  Wow, you have waited a long time.  Glad you are here!   My youngest is also 7 years old.  So we will have a similar gap.

@Kita4 good luck today at your appointment!!

@tinytina where are you now in terms of the IVF process?

@t2009 In 2012 I started spotting during my LP.  My OB assumed stress and my other Drs didn't know but suggested things like B6 etc that you did also.  It helped a bit, but I had blood drawn several times during the LP showing low progesterone.  Not low enough to prescribe anything though apparently.  Finally, my Dr prescribed me progesterone and I took it last cycle.  Not a bit of spotting during the LP, although I did get a drop when AF was due.  However, I was also pregnant (lost at ~5 weeks)... so the absence of spotting during the LP could be related to being pregnant.  However, I had plenty of LP spotting during my two losses last year (one chemical, the other made it to 8 weeks.)  So the bottom line is that I really attribute the spotting finally going away to my progesterone supplementation (started at 3DPO-ish).

@Alivewithyou It's hard to say.  I've had anovulatory post-m/c but also just O'ing late post-m/c.  This cycle I O'd about 4-5 days late for me.  You tend to O around CD 25-ish?  Is that right?  And that's about where you are now?  It really could just be a few days away.

@Harmony96 Cute announcement :)

@girlspn symptoms for me = exactly what rosie2727 mentioned, minus the headaches.  I *think* the increased progesterone in pregnancy can cause some symptoms before hcg would show up on the hpt.  What DPO are you?

@rosie2727 where are you now in your 2WW??

@apeydef thank you for being OP for us for so long.  :)

AFM - Officially waiting to know!  :)

A very good reason not to be a size 6 :-)

Breast changes seem to be very common. I didn't want to nurse my dd in my last cycle because of tenderness, but wasn't pregnant. None of that tenderness this cycle. Occasional nausea only. I would expect that feeling nauseous to mean there's already enough hormone to show up on an hpt.

apeydef Hey everyone! I'm not going to be able to take over for April!! I have had no time to keep it updated and also we have decided wait until the fall to really "try" so while I will still be following along, I think it's best is someone else takes over as OP! Thx all!!

I have not seen anything on my news feed. I have seen a few   shares on reasons why to not do it

badwolf092087 The April fools jokes have started. I want to go on Facebook and make a post, but that's just going to lead to me blowing my good news for next week. People are awful sometimes. A friend joked about untying her tubes to make a sibling for her daughter. And when people spazzed on her, she said "gee it's just a joke." Not everyone finds those things funny.

chilee The only pg symptoms i have had are an utter lack of symptoms smile.gif i usually get cramps almost a week before af, but with each pregnancy there were none, also my cervix is high and soft.

I take maca powder, started about 5 years ago, took a break while pg with second and third and now using ot again...i near choked when i found out it was in capsules now! That stuff is not tasty!
I do not feel ovulation, but all of the other signs i think everyone does? My cm aint what it used to be even with maca, green tea etc...
i have felt all of the signs on an annovulatory cycle too.
I never paid for FF either and have been using it for 8 years. I do like looking back and comparing pg cycles with bd times etc.
I love the sibling announcement. I lined up all of the kids shoes and added my youngests old newborn padraigs to the line up smile.gif

Looking forward to the ultrasound pic!

5am and squished between my two youngest...wishing the same for you all...
April will be a great month for bfps

I was just going to post a picture of the test and say "Eeep!" But I think I like the brothers more. That way they'll actually get seen and not just glossed over with all the other pg test pictures (real or not).

 congratulations!! :)
