Mozado8210 This was last week, at 37 weeks and 4 days. Feeling pretty ready for this baby to get out already! The midwife at my appointment today said she doubts I'll be back for next week's appointment (it's on Friday), but I had to schedule an ultrasound anyway because I turned 35 last week. Seems silly to me, but it's not invasive, just a u/s. Hope everyone is doing well, I can't wait to see more baby pics!

There is a woman in my town that has written a book and has you tube videos on Pregnant belly dancing and how good it is to prepare for birth....She comes to my pregnancy support group about once a month and shows us all some epic belly dance moves.

35 weeks yesterday. Like my snazzy leopard print pi's? lol It's all starting to drag by now. Every day seems longer and longer.

gitanamama Beautiful @onetwoten! I also feel bad that I haven't taken more belly shots- I'm gonna make it happen this weekend, before it's too late!

@onetwoten, I love the idea of having the older sibling paint the belly! I am stealing this!

I've only managed a handful of belly shots this pregnancy, and feel -so- bad about it. With my first we took weekly photos, and I swore I would do them again this time. Not so much! :/  But we did grab the camera the other day and take a few artsy shots to remember the belly by.

These are 36 weeks.

36.5  gave my 2.5 year old a chance to paint on the belly. It's not henna but I think it's a cool memory. :)

So relieved to find some maternity shorts in my stash, it's been SOOO hot lately.

Everyone is looking fantastic.

I was not expecting to make it to 38 weeks ... DD was born at 38d5wk, and wasn't twins :P

Only one pair of shoes that I could make work for church this morning, and they were silver/grey, so wore this dress, one more time -- it's gotten a ton of use this pregnancy. I had it custom made for a backyard/BBQ wedding that I attended at 37ish weeks pregnant with DD 3 years ago.

My dad has a pretty big umbilical hernia and my 3 year old, who has been fascinated by "beebos" for 2 years, thinks it's amazing. He talks about how when he's grown up, he's going to have a huge beebo like Grandpa. I've been trying to wean him off rubbing mine for the whole pregnancy and now we usually compromise by him feeling it through my shirt. The kid has been boob-weaned for over a year but my belly button is definitely his comfort object.

My boobs look a lot smaller then they really are (they are about an F). I think they are partially hidden by my belly, and there's always the comparison of boobs to belly that make them look uber tiny next to a big round ball ;)

primalmom I'm looking at this and thinking how SMALL my boobs look compared to everyone else's! But they're up to DD cups (and I'm guessing they'll get bigger when milk comes in...)...

Mine popped about 6 weeks ago, but sometimes it goes back to being just flat, I guess depending on babies position?

05-13-2014 02:40 PM
gitanamama Mine popped around 6 months. It definitely shows when I wear tighter shirts, which looks a little funny. And it's so sensitive!! DH knows to get nowhere near it when rubbing my belly. wink1.gif
