lisarussell Put in the experiences that qualify you for the topic area you are wanting to write in.

I write about beauty (licensed cosmetologist for 14 years)

I write about homeschooling and education (teacher and homeschooling parent)

I also write about cooking and business (restaurant owner)

Your life fills you up with experiences that contribute to your writing skills. What is your field of knowledge?

Chic_Mama There are quite a few different magazines and such that I am applying to or pitching articles to. Any help- in the resume department specifically!

ErikaLeigh Where are you looking to applying at?

Chic_Mama I am just beginning to apply for freelance writing jobs and I am finding that a lot of them require a resume and cover page. What am I supposed to put on a resume when I don't currently have any published work? Can anyone give me a little guidance here?

Also, what should my cover letter be like? I need help! Thanks so much!
