Yep, me too.  Or when I look in the backseat to see my son in his carseat.  I nearly black out.  It's as if my eyes don't have the same range of motion that they used to :)

What about low iron?  Are you anemic at all?  I find that if I haven't been taking my iron supplement I get dizzy, see stars, am lightheaded, etc.

I have seen stars a few times. I also have GD and proteinuria I'm not on pre-e watch because I have low BP. I always just thought it was my low BP. Could it have been low BS? Doesn't hurt to call.

This is one of those symptoms that when you are being watched for pre-e, they always say to CALL.  It might be nothing, but since you are already symptomatic, it's definitely worth getting checked out for.  These kinds of central nervous symptoms can come long before severe blood pressure, but can be extremely serious (though again, may also be unrelated - the only way to know is to get seen).

What's the worst that can happen if you call?  And what's the worst that can happen if you don't call?  It's not being an idiot to talk a doctor when you're worried about something, even if it ends up being nothing to worry about.  It's their job to be able to tell the difference, not yours!

I get occasional "fireflies" and I always always have had low blood pressure. 100/60 range. So I suppose it doesn't necessarily mean high blood pressure, but I'm no doctor. I would think that if you are regularly monitoring your own blood pressure, and it's in a range that you wouldn't be concerned about without the fireflies, then maybe you could wait to call until monday. But if you aren't monitoring your own blood pressure several times a day, then definitely call. Better to be safe and sheepish, I would think.

All I can say is that I see 'stars' on a regular basis, whether I'm pregnant or not.  I tend to have low blood pressure and it often happens when I'm warm or tweek my neck in a certain way (I think the blood flow must get cut off for a moment).  I've talked to many doctors about it and it always gets passed off as normal.

Anyway, it could be worth calling about since you're having some other high-risk issues..  but it's probably nothing.
