I am a Naturopath near Atlanta and I have recently started a blog with alternative health information and gluten free recipes.  There are some posts on treating strep throat naturally and many other topics.  I am filming some videos to put on the website soon and that has been a fun project.

Blogging is more fun than I thought it would be.  It's very creative, which I enjoy.  I just wish I had more time to devote to it.

Thanks for letting me share and I hope you enjoy it,

Becky Mauldin, N.D.

This is such a fantastic thread!  Mothering/homeschooling blogs have changed my life.  (a little too dramatic?)  I get the best ideas, and inspiration from reading blogs.  You can read about our journey here at http://ava-like-a-bird.blogspot.com/ .  I think I've already visited some of the blogs that have been listed (definitely http://besthomeschooling.org/)  I'm looking forward to reading through this list!

much love,

Amanda

I blog @ Inchworm Chronicles.

If you leave me a comment, I will come and visit your blog, too! I love blogging b/c it allows me to find new friends and connect online!

Aren't blogs great?

Infusion of new ideas, validation of living an uncommon lifestyle, and a way to stretch the brain, all rolled up into one cool package.

root*children

mine is http://root-children.blogspot.com

It started out, several years ago, as a blog for our Flat Stanley project.  when that ended, it became just about the goings-ons of homeschooling life - we unschool though, so not much actual "here we are doing our homeschooling work" king of posts :)

I just started blogging a few weeks ago-- aiming for at least one post per week; we'll see how I do ;)

My blog is about writing, teaching writing, books for kids and teens, home learning and unschooling.

Here's the link: http://www.robinstevenson.com/wordpress/category/blog/

I've been enjoying checking out some of the blogs above!

I've been blogging since January '11.  Although with a new baby and recent move (2 days apart and it was a homebirth!) the posts have been few and far between since last fall.  But, if you're curious what life is like being a homeschooling Christian housewife to 5 kids (7,5,4,2 and 6 weeks) then come on over to www.thechristianhousewife.com and check it out.  computergeek2.gif

My blog is glimmersnaps. I do a little homelearning stuff (I plan to start doing more!) and a lot of organization and DIY-type stuff. All easy stuff, though. Lol I don't have any power tools. Have you checked out Peaceful Parenting? She has some really great ideas and a good blogroll. Also I like How we Montessori

I have five children who were all, at one time, under the age of 7!  So that is the title of my blog!  It's about our crazy hectic lives and our attempts to be great parents to these five fabulous children!

There is a ton of info! I cant wait to start reading

Thanks!

We moved to Nova Scotia from Thunder Bay, Ontario 2 years ago. West was never an option, it's just way too expensive.

I originally created it for the website of the state homeschooling support organization I used to volunteer with, and they eventually asked me if I'd just take it over on my own, because it got to be a lot of work for them to maintain with the limited volunteers.

It purposely has no ads or affiliate links.

Thanks elizawill :). I think there's quite a few of us mothering homeschool mamas who visit TWTM. I think most people opted for a different username though (I did), so I don't know who's who over there.
