My daughter has us eating gluten, dairy, and cane sugar free. Plus we're vegetarians. At first I was overwhelmed, then I fell in love with the diet. We mainly eat whole foods and very little processed foods. We're so much healthier for this.


For breakfast we have smoothies made with collards, kale, spinach, bananas, blueberries, mango, raw honey, flax seed, chia, and almond millk.


Lunches are usually leftovers. Maybe pasta (corn or brown rice,) eggs, or when we're out and about nutbutter and jelly on rice cakes.


Dinners are veggies and rice, pasta with sauce, eggs, corn or mungbean tortillas, assorted soups.


I agree with pp. What type of foods do you like?

Why don't you let us know what she does eat, and then maybe we can go from there? 


There is also a difference between lactose intolerant and dairy allergic, so clarifying that would also be helpful.  Lactose alone is usually pretty easy to avoid, milk is a little harder. 


There is also an allergy sub forum under Health and Healing - there's usually a dairy free thread in there that you might find useful.

hi my daughters 2 in august and shes lactose intolerant and has been since birth, we have been struggling for the past nearly 2yrs with her diet, shes now on a milk free diet and lactose free diet. i really dont know where to start with food as she hates trying new things, and i need some advice and help to get me started on what to do.
