Just an update, I'm very amazed the taking floradix seems to have helped A LOT!  Thanks everyone.  Postpartum with #2 has it's own challenges, specifically finding time to eat right. :)  Although I am not a fan of the floradix taste, I'm glad to have it.

So sorry you aren't feeling well Mama. Another huge vote for floradix here. The first thing I thought was iron. I really feel a difference after taking it for a few days, even if I am in the normal range. I've heard getting your reserves up can take months though. Do you know what your lab value was exactly? I think I've heard some iron tests are more sensitive than others too. Good luck!

I get the same feeling periodically, and I find that supplementing with something like floradix works wonders.

My bloodwork always shows that my iron is ok or borderline, but that little boost can make a world of difference.

Oh, and the other thing that does that to me is a sinus infection. Sometimes they can have minimal symptoms, but really wear you down. I've been fighting one for a while now, and all I have is some post-nasal drip and some seriously hard time getting off my duff and not sleeping most of the day. When it clears up I have no doubt I'll be back to normal.

Thanks for the advice.  I for some reason didn't think to try looking at what nutritients are in the encapsulated placenta and supplementing in my diet.  I think my diet is lacking since I now have two kids and am always running around!  I've also lost more than my baby weight (at 5mo postpartum) and might be another issue related to nutrition. Thanks again!  Depression runs in my family and I'm always trying to be vigilant.

You can start intake of placenta capsules with nutritious and healthy diet with a lots of protein and calcium. For e.g. Milk, green vegetables etc, and do some physical exercise in morning.

I would research what nutrition the placenta capsules provide and then find supplements to replace them.  To me its sounds like a nutrition deficiency, since the symptoms started after the placenta capsules ran out.

what are placenta pills?

with both of my pregnancies I was diagnosed with Prenatal Depression. Have you read up on Prenatal Depression?

what you are experiencing sounds a lot like what I was going through.

this link here explains a bit about it.

 hope this helps.

My 2nd DD is 5mo.  I ran out of my placenta pills about 6 weeks ago.  Since then I have been having some wierd physical symptoms.  Fatique, dizziness, feeling "fuzzy", and just really lathargic.  It has gotten worse and effecting my life greatly at this point.  I do not feel sad, depressed, anxious, or anything like that.  I guess I feel so out of it that I might seem depressed.  The biggest issue is that I want to rest/sleep all day and it is effecting our routine.  I'm struggling to continue doing my normal activities!  It's effect my husband of course too.  I'm just wondering if it could be PPD or if it might be something else.  In the last month I have tested my vit D lever, thyroid, iron level, and took a pregnancy test, all negative.  I'm at a loss and frustrated.  Any advice would be good.

PS- I've been trying B6/12, nettles tea, and diet changes
