macrandall Yeah, I never figured it out. And I really, really tried. Even if I could get on on my back and one on my front or them both into the same wrap on front, I couldn't move at all and was instantly exhausted. I feel bad that mine don't like being worn and I wonder if it's because I didn't wear them enough. They usually won't tolerate being worn at all. The only exception is when we've been out way too long and really need a nap. They'll sleep in a carrier because they can't really nap in the wagon like they could in a stroller (they won't tolerate strollers). And then, of course, I'll only do it with one at a time.

prettyisa I don't have twins yet (any week now!) but I wore my daughter all the time--it was easier than the stroller to take her places that were busy (any festivals or fairs, stores) or on long walks. She seemed so little in the stroller and half the time if we were out she'd start getting fussy and it was easier to pop her into a carrier than to let her scream. I got through a lot of meals out and shopping trips that way. I'm looking forward to figuring out how to wear twins! Also, the only carrier I really liked until she was almost 6 months old was a snuggli wrap, which is like a sturdier moby. She was close enough to my body in that that I could do things like laundry.

amyc1688 also i just tried doing laundry with her in a wrap and i struggled to get the laundry out of the top loaded washer without squishing her. then tried folding/hanging clothes and we just werent comfortable so now shes also in her swing and i can quickly run around for the next hour and get everything i need done. so when they wake up and play i can sit with them, feed and change them and then when they go back to sleep i'm going to want to sit and read so babywearing in my day to day just doesnt make sense.

the reason i am trying to do it more is because i dont do much tummy time, they dont tolerate it long and i dont want them to have severe flat spots. they sleep on their backs and play on their backs ;-/ ......

i think i am getting brave enough to go grocery shopping with husband if we both carry a baby, i will not attempt by myself yet! but there are many outdoor things i am missing out on bc i cannot carry them at the same time

amyc1688 Ok I'm sure this topic has been discussed in the past but as a FTM i have some questions about babywearing in general.

i love carrying them but unless going for a hike, or possibly to store..i dont see when its necessary. i realy want to carry them more but sometimes getting them all set up just to take them out to feed or to change seems like more work then just waiting for them to sleep to do house chores. and we have a really nice stroller that family bought so i dont want to not use that, but again id like to wear them more..

so for starters, id like to know how to carry two babies. this would rarely be necessary as if we were going waling my husband would carry one, and i would never attempt to do housework while carrying two...

so i guess the question is ... when do you wear your babies? and any ideas for twin holding? i have a boba wrap and two ergo type things... i want to get a maya ring sling for easier breastfeeding in public.

righht now i have one in boba and other is sleeping in her swing. up until now i gave up on wearing in house but i see it has potential benefits as i can at least type!
