5/2  -  allergies too bad - couldn't take it

5/3  -  65 total in the gym - treadmill and elliptical

5/4  -  took home cooked food to my college kid for exam week

5/5  -  70 minutes walking/jogging with hubby ----just couldn't run with the congestion

5/6  -  uh....my ear drum ruptured last night.  So I took a pass today

5/7  -  120 minutes dug holes, ran the tiller, raked - garden time!   but the pollen did me in

5/8  -  80 minute walk

5/9  -  100 total minutes.....25 walking - 75 in the gym, shoulders chest abs arms

5/10-  nothing

5/14-  75 minutes brisk walking

5/25-  120 oh my gosh - I worked my butt off.  From 10 am until 3 pm....hard manual labor outside.  I think I'll just count 2 hours since my heart wasn't up the entire time. I'm always so conflicted over whether to count this.   But I raked dirt.  And pounded in posts with a sledgehammer.  Over my head...

30 day shred is a 25 min work-out video. You do 3 mins of strenght, 2 min of cardio and 1 min abs, 3 times (different things each time). There is 3 levels, and it WILL shred you if you stick with it. It's just really intense and hard, so I only do it a couple times a week. :P

It doesn't usually hurt when I first wake up unless that foot was on top of the pillow when I sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees. (even then it doesn't usually hurt) Yes, it was on the bottom of my heel; it's better today. Thanks for your concern though and for teaching me. I definitely slowed down my walking - am walking less - after reading that an increase can cause pain.

 

2 miles of walking around the house and yard plus 1/8 mile to the mailbox ~ 55 minutes

55 + 1,610 = 1,665/2,000

 

1 more mile before dark

1,665 + 25 = 1,690/2,000

 

Just ten more days with at least a half an hour each to go :)

CM - does it hurt when you first wake up?   Plantars fasciitis occurs when you do too much too soon.  If you increase your intensity or your distance too quickly...the muscle in the back of your heel hurts.  This muscle goes under your foot all the way up your calf.   When you sleep at night and the muscle is slack - it complains in the morning when you start moving around.   

After you walk or work out - roll the bottom of your foot out on a frozen water bottle.   All this advice is hinging on the fact that the bottom hurts!   I hope it isn't the top of your foot.  That might be a sprain....

lab, I'm not sure why it hurts. If it was from the 6 miles on Sunday, I think it would have hurt yesterday instead of waiting until today. It's better now as long as I don't walk around too much. I walked another mile after dinner:

I might not walk a mile tonight because I'm tired and my foot hurts. I am looking forward to it when I do though because my hard work paid off - the sticks are picked up and the neighbor mowed the lawn! I love seeing it freshly cut.

4 miles walked around the house + 1 more lap; I almost walked a fifth mile but my sore left leg told me to stop.
