|lilacvioletiris||Here is the challenge results: blue team won! There was a loss of 9.74% @sierramtngirl was our biggest loser with 5.74% of her weight gone! Way to go!|

|violetflapjack||I weighed in yesterday AM, but didn't have a chance to post. Monday's weight was 177.2. Tiny loss, but it's still a loss so I'm happy. Too many restaurant meals and meals away from home, not enough exercise or sleep. Too much stress. Ugh! Well, I'm prioritizing exercise this week (though I haven't gotten around to anything formal yet, but I've been busting my butt in the yard). Tomorrow is another day. I'm hoping for more of a loss next week, for the grand finale!|

|crazyms||I want in on the next one! We're leaving for a camping trip in the morning and will be back on the 18th. I have been doing better with working out and drinking water but I know this trip is going to kill my little progress. I'll be ready to start back when we return!|

|allisonrose||173. I don't understand what is going on. I was below 172 mid of the last week then my weight climbed back up. I've been watching calories and exercising. It's the middle of my cycle so it's not likely water retention. Frustrating!|

|Amandamarie||I didn't get a chance to post last week's weight in-190. Must have been water retention, because today's weigh in was 185. Much better. Shoulder healed and back to playing hockey|

Well, disappointing end to another eight week challenge, 141.5 again today. I really hoped to get back into the 130's and will sign up for the next challenge with the hope of getting there before my next pregnancy (which I hope to achieve in the next few months). But this new TCM practitioner I went to see the other week told me I have a kidney Yin deficiency so after the race on Labor Day I will be cutting my running significantly (he says it drains Yin) and doing more yoga and Tai Chi. I can't see how I can drop more weight practicing asanas if I couldn't do it running 20-25 miles each week. On the other hand, I never got around to the measurements thing but I can slide the shorts I popped the button off of in the spring over my hips without undoing the safety pin replacing the lost button, so I know I am at least slimmer now, even if the scale refuses to acknowledge it. Maybe this is my new set weight and I need to forget about my old pre-pregnancy weight and just accept that this is a new phase in my life?

116.8 this morning after a juice cleanse yesterday. In the Fast Track book I read, it mentioned people doing a fast every change of season, and I think that is something I'll take up.
I go the Fast Metabolism audiobook from the library and will try that next. I'm going camping this weekend, so it would be nice to just bring veggies and fruits and not worry about keeping proteins cold (though I'll still have to worry for the rest of the family.)
Exercise is going well. We had a dog trainer come who suggested we take the dogs on walks as a family. This is great since we've said we would start taking walks as a family but only did it once.

145#. Up a pound, but honestly with all the garbage I've been eating, it's not too bad. Still at my moms. Will be back at my house next monday, just in time for MIL to come & cook all sorts of butter laden "food". Plus, it's back to work following DS's maternity leave :/
Will miss him terribly, but in some ways I'm looking forward to getting back to my usual routine.

|MsBe||141.5 Sorry, I also forgot to weigh in Monday. Did it Tuesday but couldn't find time to post. Running is going well, except my left big toe nail started to hurt and is now turning a disturbing shade of purple. I am super busy this week planning a Lammas party but hope to do another juice cleanse next week and possibly for 5 or 7 days rather than three.|

|kzwo||I didn't weigh myself on Monday morning, instead I did it a few minutes ago - Tuesday evening. 141 lbs!!! I gained weight!!! Looks like taking care of my own three kids (ages 8,6 and 2 months old), hosting my MIL's surprise 70th birthday party, watching my friend's three kids (ages almost 9, 8 and 2) while she was gone to oversees for her mother's funeral, working on this year's homeschooling curriculum, no time to exercise, barely getting some sleep have caught up with me. I already feel terrible that I haven't given my 100% to this challenge and the scale showed the consequence. Hoping this new week will be different....|

178.4 this morning. I wasn't expecting a loss this time, since I usually retain water like crazy before my period...so this was a pleasant surprise. .
Jackies, let me know how the detox goes and if you'd recommend that book. I am still bfing my toddler a couple times a day (it doesn't really feel like hes getting any milk) so i want to wait to do any cleanses until he's done. But there was this one that I wanted to do after DS1 called "7-day detox miracle" but I got pregnant again first.
anyway that one was written by two naturopaths and it had lots of supplement recommendations to help support your body during detox and recommendations for hydrotherapy. anyway...

119.6 today. I think I have hit my final frustration with up and down weight. I'm making a big change, and you are all here to witness it! Seriously, I got a new book today from the library called the one-day detox that does a week of prep and then a juice fast (or that's what I get so far... it's actually on CD, so I can't "read ahead"). I went to a restaurant yesterday and ate a bunch of sweet potato fries the baby didn't want. I'm soooo tired of regaining for these stupid slipups. My new pants still fit, so I just have to rededicate myself to getting down to goal once and for all.
Thanks for the running info, MsBe and AllisonRose. I should sign up for another race to get motivated. DH and I are planning a biking excursion with DD in the next few weeks. I haven't been biking in years and years. I would be using MIL's bike while she watches baby. There's a daulthon I saw a flyer for in October, so if the biking trip goes well, I'll start training for that.
