Oh dear.

I *just* posted something on the last thread I wrote (the "how neat, he's drawing me pictures" one) about how he only uses one word/sign at a time and then he goes and says his first sentence today.

DH and I just about died when he said it. I was trying to get DS to come to me for a diaper change, but he was busy looking at some cars on a piece of paper. I called him a few times but he ignored me. Finally, I said, "Sweetie, why don't you come here and show me the cars you're looking at?" And he says "Hang ON, mom!", then takes his time before he toddles over to me. He got his point across though. He wasn't ready for a diaper change apparently. Oh that attitude though. I imagine things are going to get mighty interesting.
