Hmm, I bet dd1 would like to iron her sheets. I don't even use actual sheets on mine because I'm weird about fabrics; instead I use a cotton comforter on the bottom and a down one on top.

It doesn't have to be complicated; I just toss mine in with regular laundry, no soaking required. I never have a problem with staining, but I usually choose darker fabric anyway.

Do you have a shelter for domestic abuse victims near you? The one here is always happy to get toys. A lot of their clients have kids with them, some of whom couldn't bring belongings with them.
