Found this nice thread. It got derailed a couple of posts in, but started and ended well.

I'm grateful to know there are so many other MDC parents who share my viewpoint on vaccinating. :)

Time to change TDaP recommendations

Interesting article from Forbes suggesting the teen booster for TDaP may be a waste of time and it would be better to target teens with a booster if pertussis outbreaks happen near them.

I suppose it makes sense that making the choice to not vaccinate harder to make than the choice to vaccinate will shift a fraction of parents.

I have no idea. That might be one to ask your doctor. I think once the spots crust over you're not supposed to be contagious any more - but presume that's defined by people with fully functional...
