i use MEs with a whisper wrap with no problem. I've also knit my own, and the curly purly works, just make a size bigger than you think you need. HTH

Just agreeing with what the PPs have said, though I've not actually heard of HIIT. My personal trainer says when I get on a machine to just gun it every few minutes, and get my heartrate up WAAAAAAY...
