Thanks for the tips. I can't store rice in a freezer, except maybe outside in the winter. I wonder if storing it in smaller containers/jars would help. Vacuum sealing would cost more money. Hmmmm.

We bought a 25 lb bag of white beans and brown rice last year... and the 'expiration' date is for this month. I still have about 12 lbs of each left.

I am vegan/vegetarian for health reasons and raw honey is so beneficial. I think of being vegan as not eating meat protein... but, that's just me. I don't know if that helps, just my 2 cents.

Okay, we get 6 feet of snow a year and down to -10F (the lowest).

We are deciding between two greenhouses.

One, is 10 mm twin wall but the roof is barn style and can hold 20 lb/sqft of snow...
