Seems quite analogous to the normal immune response to a scratch or cut to me. Hopefully people who cut themselves don't then get sneezed on, but I bet it does happen!

Injections don't go into the blood stream! ;)

My 4 yo just got the mist. No side effects. I think it's much less traumatic for the little ones, so definitely prefer it for that reason.

Only the multivial flu shot still contains thimerosol. Not that there's any evidence thimerosol is dangerous in the quantity present in vaccines, but you an avoid it easily and get a flu shot.
