Texas has rules also - for public schools only, I believe. No candies can be given out in class at all. Also no non-nutritional sweets, like birthday cake, cookies, etc.

I don't think you can really do a lot of good when we are talking about actual abuse. I not only have no tolerance for it, but I'm a mandatory reporter, so I wouldn't tolerate it as a practical...
