Wow.
I'm not religious, so I don't attend church regularly, however a couple years ago I went to a funeral at a Catholic church.  I had my 3 month old baby with me and, unsure of the protocol, I...

My 3rd child is 2 weeks old now.  We have also struggled with slow weight gain - he was born at 9lb 9.8oz, down to 8lb, 15oz 4 days later, and still was the same weight 4 days after that.  He seemed...

Breastfeeding does reduce your breast cancer risk, and it would seem logical that if you only nurse on one breast, your chance in the other breast is higher, but it wouldn't be any higher than if...

What that quote means is that babies are born with some of the mom's immunities, but they don't last forever. Breastfeeding is an ongoing way of transferring immunities to the baby past that 6-12...

The only pump I'd buy used is the Ameda Purely Yours since it is a closed system, but that one is pretty cheap new (relatively), and personally it would be worth the extra $ to buy new with a...

My youngest was like this too. I had oversupply and OALD, and it was like she'd just chug the milk for 5 minutes, and then she was full. She gained weight great too.

The Milkies collector is great. It's bulky, so I wouldn't use it in public, but it works great at home. I usually got 1-2oz/feeding when I was using it.

Yes, you can save the leftover for the next feeding. I'd only save it once though, so if she doesn't finish it the second time, I probably would dump it.

My second was very much like that - super fussy during the day, fine at night. I tried everything and it turned out to be gas. Go figure. She needed to be burped for about 20 minutes after EVERY...

Absolutely not too late. In fact, I doubt it ever is. I was down to 4oz/day after I got my gallbladder out (DD was 5 weeks old). It only took 2 weeks (pumping 12x a day, a few of them power-pumps)...

I used the Lansinoh bags too and they're very good IF you are super-careful about not bumping them around once frozen. I freeze flat and then put them sideways in a shoebox-sized sterlite container...

I also don't see why she's providing frozen milk? Fresh is good for up to 8 days in the fridge, and it's better quality than frozen. I always give fresh - monday's milk on tuesday, tuesday's milk on...

Unless she seems uncomfortable, she's probably fine. Around that age many EBF babies start to poop less often (sometimes only every 10 days or so!). As long as when she does poop it's the normal...
