I am thinking it might be prudent to ask to get one appointment sooner than 36 weeks to talk to the OBs.  If he says no I can always go to L&D for something and then ask my question while I am there.

I would find a way to pay for it.  WHat type of insurance do you have?  Some will cover a portion of the doctor, even if they are out of network.  If not can you get Medicaid?
