American Academy of Pediatrics doesn't reccomend sports until a minimum age six, and that is the earliest....

Can you nurse more at night? This should increase your production if it is weaning milk. I've also read that milk that sits in the breast too long gets salty....which would correspond with weaning....

Nursing side lying while having a cold, or cradle hold, may be hard for him. Nursing upright may be easier.
