I think it's great he has all those artistic juices flowing !! Yu could invest in a chalk board and chalks which would last him a long time and would maybe halt the paper usage for a while!

Yep, depends on your baby. Mine didn't like it at all the first time, but I kept doing it and she was fine. Your baby maybe just had a shock as it was the first time.

DH was SAHD with DD for the first 2 years- he did find it hard at first but soon got into their own routine. A trial run sounds like a good suggestion in order to iron out any wrinkles.

Yep I had a tummy sleeper and she is now 5. If you are worried you can get these mats that go under the mattress and give out an alarm if there is no breathing.....

DD was about 3 when she decided she wanted to pick her own clothes. We let her do it and it was funny to see a polka dot/striped tights and dungarees with purple poncho combination!

I don't have any of those brands but DD has a marble run for the bath. She likes it but gets very frustrated as she doesn't quite have the motor skills yet to construct it.
