It really only takes a little dirt and some sun, nothing fancy. I'm glad you got "free" perennial plants. A little clipping, some root hormone, and some time is all it takes. I love gardening!

I don't burn a lot thankfully. I just didn't prepare for an early 70 degree day in april out in the sun. We spend a ton of time outside so the sunblock was in my camelbak from hiking.
