Someone told me the standard vial is only like a teaspoon of blood! So overall that's not that much at all. It may just be a stress response to the having your blood drawn and seeing the vials....

I don't think watching after your little one is outside of the scope of a doula or an unreasonable request. In my opinion, if a client is paying me to be there I will do anything they want me to do...

Thanks for all of your replies! When you say it can be unreliable, what does that mean? Like what the readout says is not what you hear (how large is that difference?)... or there is a lag time...
