My DS (same age) likes nonfiction videos. There's tons at the library you can check out. Also Scholastic videos of children's books are great.

You can wait if you want. But really it's almost better if you start the process now. Especially if she's starting kindergarten this fall the wait to do an eval and start services will be longer....

I don't think you're crazy... Until my kids are good and verbal I don't usually leave them with anybody either. Not friends, not relatives, not anybody. There are certainly things I'd like to do...

Three is one of "those" ages...it's like another poster said--they just get crazy for about a year. It makes 2 look like a breeze. What worked best for me was to ignore the regressive "babyish"...

I don't know about preschools but you're in Beaverton and the public schools have some bilingual/immersion programs. Portland has a few private preschools that fit what you're looking for.
