From what I remember, there are acupressure points on your wrist that can help relieve nausea. I don't remember the specifics of where exactly but I bet you can google it.

I'm not knocking use of technology for children, but I'd be wary of using devices with children close to bedtime or for when they can't sleep unless I took precautions to reduce blue light emissions....
