Mothering Named A Top Santa Fe Business

Santa Fe, NM – Mothering magazine was named one of the top five small businesses in Santa Fe, New Mexico and was honored in a ceremony at City Hall last month. The City of Santa Fe recognized five locally owned, small businesses that exemplify an inspirational vision and standard of excellence beyond simply “business as usual.”

Mothering was recognized for several exemplary practices:

Having a diverse staff

Paying a Living Wage

Offering meeting space and a lending library to local parents

Being a Family Friendly business:

• Two-month paid maternity and paternity leave
• Job sharing, flex time, and work at home.
