Peggy O'Mara Receives Important Courage in Journalism Award

On Saturday night Oct 3rd Peggy O'Mara, editor and publisher of Mothering magazine, Mothering.com and numerous books on natural and informed parenting, received the Courage in Journalism award from the National Vaccine Information Center at their conference in Virginia. "I cried when I read Barbara Loe Fisher’s email letting me know," writes Peggy on her blog "A Quiet Place". As explained by Fisher, President of NVIC, Peggy received the award "in recognition of [her] many years of leadership in framing the paradigm shift that is occurring in child health toward achieving wellness without constant use of multiple vaccines or drugs.”
