(for my daughter)
laying long
my body curved, a crescent moon
around you
we nestle in the bed's field
afternoon sun and my long hair
spilling over you
tip of my nipple slipping in
between your open peachwet lips
you snatch me
your tiny mouth
huggin
small fingers
cold from crawling the kitchen floor
from pressing
the winter window pane
dance lightly
on my warm flesh
unclothed now
layers of shirt and sweater rolled up
out of the way
breathing deeply
belly rounding
my body empties
its milklight white
into you
