We love birth photography! We love seeing the beautiful, raw and intense images that talented photographers capture as the miracle of life unfolds right in front of their eyes! That's why we love the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers annual photo contest, and we think you'll love this year's winners too!

The eighth annual International Association of Professional Birth Photographers (IAPBP) Image Competition wrapped up recently and all the images were stunning. Winners were chosen for several categories: Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, Birth Details and Fresh 48.

According to the Association, birth photography at the core celebrates family and the photographers who specialize in birth photography use their talent and art to share the beautiful stories of birth.

It's true; these images bring about smiles and tears and remembering, and celebrate all that is beautiful and real about birth.

The contest was open to 1,100 members of the Association, which has members from over 50 countries, and a panel of officials had the very difficult task of choosing winners.

Take a peek; you'll be enthralled!
