Eden Haywood-Bird
Cloth Diapering

Ask A Question
Read Past Questions and Answers

Eden, a mother of three children (a teen, preschooler and a toddler), began cloth diapering her second child in 2003. Starting out with thrift store finds and lucky guesses, she developed the hobby of trying out and using every type of diaper made—including some she created herself!  Prefolds, flats, fitted, pockets, front and side snap, Aplix, velcro, one size, all-in-ones, wrap and pull-on covers, PUL, nylon, Snappis, pins, and interlock and knitted or crocheted wool are all part of her children's stash. Eden has tried many types of both WAHM and mass manufactured brands. She is also an expert on the care and keeping of cloth diapers including detergents, washing, wash additives, hard and soft water washing, top and front loader washing machine differences, line drying and air drying. Eden is in the early stages of becoming a Real Diaper Association leader for her area..
