Ah David

What so closely touches the fact of
The truth I confide to you
Is the dark in the center of my eye
Is the silence in the center of my heart
Is the electric energy in my spine
Is the sound in my skeleton
Is the turbulence on my tongue
That when we consider the gamble of love
We acknowledge risk as the heart's
Occupation.
