My kid’s in junior year and still freezes on long reading passages in SAT practice. I wonder if a steady, lighter prep routine could help. Has anyone seen improvement with that kind of approach?

I’ve seen it help. I kept my daughter to a short weekly routine since 9th grade and over time the reading pace picked up without adding pressure. Beestar was part of what she used.
We tried it out and we definitely enjoyed the fact that kids did not have to feel so stressed out with Beestar's SAT Prep. The kids were able to slowly learn the skills and the build the foundation that they needed. Other programs are great but they felt a lot more like cram school than anything and honestly, SAT is a test you can prepare for.
