Yes, mamas who have pumped know…and shared in many encouraging and supportive posts for the singer.

Pink also hit reality by showing alcohol in the selfie, leading to some controversy about whether drinking while being a breastfeeding mama is safe (or even morally okay). Experts say that once alcohol enters the breast milk, it doesn’t stay for days as has been thought. In fact, alcohol leaves breast milk at the same rate it leaves your bloodstream, which is about two to three hours after consumed. Once milk is pumped, it’s believed to be safe for mama to have moderate amounts of alcohol.

  1. “Once milk is pumped, it’s believed to be safe for baby to have moderate amounts of alcohol.”
It should probably say mum, not baby!

  2. I really think you should leave out comments about it being ‘morally’ being ok to have a drink. Just because people have children doesn’t mean they can’t have a glass of wine occasionally
