Really am in need of a brain to pick.
Living in China isn't easy to begin with, but now that I am expecting, a whirlwind of questions come to mind.
I'm an American living in Guangzhou. Having my baby in a Chinese hospital is not an option, even the private hospitals in Guangzhou have a not so good reputation.
I have read and heard horror stories of expats going for pre-natal checkups in Guangdong Province, always ending in tears.
I've read the post regarding home births in China, but I don't even know where to begin to look or who to ask.
Then I came to the conclusion, going to a Hong Kong private hospital for a scheduled c-section would be the best choice. (I'm only 2 months along, but I need a plan)
If I were to do the Hong Kong c-section, Is there an agency that helps to get my babies passport and Chinese Visa so we can return home?
Tuesday I will return to the US for a few weeks, to get a REAL first appointment.
But once I return back to Guangzhou, I will need a pre-natal doctor.
Any help/ opinions/ comments would be sooooooo appreciated.
