Count me in. I am non-theistic and I don't believe in such a thing as a spirit. I feel a sense of awe about evolution but not in any sort of metaphysical way. My beliefs align well with the likes of Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett.

That would be me. But I'm not chatty about it. I think its the limitations of not speculating.

I'm so atheist, I don't even believe the word "god" exists.

One of my favorite quotes: "Who is more godless than I, that I may delight in his instruction?"

I'm not sure if I'm one. What is the definition? Or, is this on of those “if you have to ask…” type things?

I’m an apathetic atheist.

Troll? Here's me...

Hey, I'm an atheist too! So is dh. And we're going to raise our ds as a secular humanist & freethinker.

Hi! I'm the mod here. I just want to ask you all what you want me to do about this thread of yours. As you may or may not know, the Spirituality forum has very strict guidelines as to what is and is not appropriate posting. If you wish this thread to continue in the Spirituality forum, where other members are not allowed to debate with you about your beliefs (or lack thereof) you must also be respectful of other people's beliefs. We do not allow any criticism of faith or religion in this forum. If you wish to discuss others' beliefs, that may be done in the Religious Studies forum, but keep in mind that others may post to your thread in criticism of your beliefs there. As a third option, it has been suggested to me that maybe this thread would be better served in Personal Growth. What do you all think? I'm leaving the decision up to you.

Well, there's a spirituality forum for those who are spiritually inclined - is there any way there could be a secularist forum for those of us who aren't? I.e. where we could discuss atheism, agnosticism, evolutionary biology, etc. etc.?
