Dh and I are discussing names for a future boy. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his brother Calvin. But aren't sure if we like the name Calvin. So, do you know of any variations on the name Calvin?

I like Callum!

Incidentally....I think I read somewhere that Calvin means 'bald'....

Although I remember really loving the name Calvin as a kid because of the character in 'A Wrinkle in Time' - does anyone remember that?

I taught a student named Callahan. It isn't exactly a variation of Calvin, but it does share the same 1st syllable, and the same nickname, Cal.

So, I've been thinking about maybe taking a few special names and trying to make a new one. So here's a temporary list.

Calvin
Walter
Dean
Bryan
Lee
James
Curtis
Dow

Anybody creative out there?
