The windchill is 8* F, so not only can't we go out to play, we are freezing our butts off just waiting for the bus.

My kids and dh have turned into germ transport systems. Aidan just got over an ear infection, Margaret just got dx with one! Tues night I started feeling cruddy, and dh said "Uh-oh, the flu has been going around work, K and C have been out all week, can't even get out of bed" Gee, now guess what I've got? Apparently a mild-ish case, because I can manage to get out of bed long enough to get the kids dressed and to school, but that feels like climbing Mt Everest.

It's so cold I can't even put the dogs out, and they have fairly heavy coats. Therefore, they are in here barking their heads off, and I think my head is going to explode. *sigh*

Come on spring!!!!

I'm sick sick sick of winter, too!!! I want EVERYONE in my family to be healthy...you know, all at one time. We've been passing things around all winter and someone always seems to be sick with something. UGH!

I want to go outside, feel the WARM sun, go on a hike, see lots of GREEN (instead of white, grey, brown), and not have to wear layer upon layer just to leave the house.

C'mon SPRING!!!

Mama to A (12), Z (11), H (9), C (5), A (3) and 4 angels.

I'm right there with you. It isn't cold here, but dd and I have just caught our second cold this month, now she has diarrhea (can't be food since she is tube fed she eats the same thing everyday) DH is sick too (and a total baby about it I might add) The only good news is that dh talked the the pharmacist last night and apparently you can double up on cold medicine and you aren't in danger of OD'ing, sigh.....off to drink my TheraFlu.

If it makes you feel any better....we're in the midst of a blizzard. Wind chill around 15 below F and we're supposed to get 16-18 inches of heavy wet snow before the end of tomorrow with 35 mph winds. Stranded until at least Saturday. Just waiting for the power to go out, which should happen any moment. My dog ran off this morning and I can't get out of my driveway/road to go find him - he didn't get walked this morning so he is now punishing me.

I hope you guys all feel better soon.

Ugh, I'm so there with you.

We are rarely sick from May to December, but once the holidays come and go it's like a "pass the germs around" game in this house in spite of my best prevention efforts. We have not had a completely healthy family since New Years and it's not showing any sign of slowing down.

I love winter up until Jan. 1st. Than I am sooooo done with it. I'm sitting here just begging for spring. :

I hope you all get and STAY healthy soon!
