Today he was sad cause his NASCAR race was rained out, so I said, lets go out for a hike to Mountsberg and show Molly all the birds of prey and the Bison and take her to the playbarn. He agreed.
By the time I got out of the shower, he said the race may be back on. I say, well you can PVR it (like TIVO) and watch it when we get home.
He groaned, I said, "We won't be gone long and it will help Molly sleep better tonight"
Then I said "So??? What do you think??

He says, "Well I know what the right answer is"
I say What's that?
He replies "NASCAR should not come before my family"

I'm sooooooo excited!!! My wee boy is growing up!!!!

We had a great time and when we got home discovered the race had indeed been cancelled for the rain

Aww. Congatulations! Isn't it sweet when they grow up? Too bad they don't seem to grow as quickly as the kids...

Namaste, Tara

What did you feed him to make THAT happen? I simply need to know and I'll rush out and buy 20 of them.

It must be an epidemic. Mine not only got himself hired for the perfect job (ok, so the pay stinks, but it's part-time so we don't need child-care and can both attend classes, and it ofrfers cheap benefits to part-times, and it's really close by), but he also remembered all by himself to go take pics of the car we've got up for sale for a potential buyer who requested them.

This is a man who usually has a hard time remembering to let the dog in before he goes to bed.

Maturity, like the mumps, must be reaching epidemic proportions!
