I frequently have a dream that I give birth to a baby boy. I have two girls and we are finished having children....

Can a dream about giving birth have another meaning?

Giving birth in a dream can have many many many many many many meanings. The only way to know for sure what it means for you is to really analyze your feelings in the dream. Some of the possible meanings are:
finishing or starting a project that will be like your baby,
starting a business,
a past life memory,
getting something out like a truth or something you have wanted to say/do for a long time,
wanting another baby,
a child wanting to be born to you,
giving something of yourself to the world, like writing a book, doing charity work, art, etc

The possibilities are endless. Just the act of giving birth doesn't tell alot, its the context, how you felt while it happened and before and after, and a myriad of other details as well that will give you the dreams true meaning.

I suggest writing down every little detail of the dream. Everything you can remember and all your thoughts and feelings during the dream, and anything that you feel or that jumps out at you while you write it out. Only then will you be able to get an idea of what it means.

Giving birth can be symbolism for "creating something new" or "mothering someone or something" such as a business or craft project, mentoring somebody, etc.

We're done having children an I keep on having these dreams too. At least 6 in the last year or so. Always a boy, I'm always nursing and this last one was even a home birth (I blame that on MDC, LOL).

Interesting.

New ideas I'd say.
