Ditto what she said. I thought I had lots more time to sign up for this.

Hmmm.....maybe if there is enough interest someone else will start up another swap for those of us who missed this one! I'd volunteer, but I have terrible organizational skills!

I missed out too! If there's enough interest, I'll volunteer to organize another one. I could do it over Thanksgiving, with signups until then. Is it okay to have two swaps running at the same time, though, I wonder?

GLM, I don't know if you need an even number or not but right now you have 31 sign ups, will it work with an odd number?

Edited because what I suggested before sounded really stupid when I reread it.

Corrie43, TNRSMOM started another one for those who missed out on this one. YOu could join that one, now.

Also, GLM, are we going to keep the same date? We will send you our picks starting November 28th, is that correct?

Peace,

All dates stay the same and are the same for both groups. Do NOT send your choices before the 28th as paople will be doing a lot of updating. Have fun swapees!

Just to add to what Chris said,

The more people that are in the swap, the harder it is to match up choices. Limiting the number of swapees makes perfect sense.

Not freaked out here, GLM. You are wise in closing it. Having organized a swap with a ton of people in it, I agree it can get difficult. I created a spreadsheet for my last swap and it really helped make the most matches and keep me from overlooking anyone.

Thanks TNRSMOM for confirming what I was asking. I never send my choices early. Late, but never early. (he he--just joking)

Don't worry, y'all are handlig it very well. I don;t think anyone is freaked.

Peace,

Me? I had a crazy idea. How about a 24 hour swap while we wait til the 28th? This is NOT TO TAKE AWAY FROM THE DECEMBER SWAPS IN ANY WAY. THis is just a crazy, fun, spontaneous idea. If you are game check out the 24 hour swap thread in MDC SWAPS AND CO-OPS.

Amy, wait until the deadline because some people are still waiting on packages from the last swap and will be editing their lists.

GLM~I am wondering how this is determined. Everyone puts a different value on what things are worth. I think I may put more value to some things because I don't have a lot of money, where someone who has a lot of money may use garage sale prices. I can't afford that. LOL I use what I think things would go for on the trading post. And I would hope the people would contact the sender before going to the coordinator of the swap. I want nothing more than my swappees to be happy, and if I messed up I definately want to know!!!
Thanks so much!!
Debi
